Earlier this year, both my family moved house and I moved back into my family home after 3 years of Uni. As much as I like the new house, it ALL needs redecorating. The kitchen was done a few weeks ago but last week, it was time for the bedrooms so that means, my room!
It's going to sound really boring but I had literally just redecorated my room in my old house before we moved, and because I didn't live there, I didn't get chance to enjoy it at all. So, I've had exactly the same thing! I've gone for quite a nautical/minimalistic theme with 3 light blue walls and 1 wall with brick wallpaper, which I love. However, this post is more about the accessories I've made to put on the wall!
After scanning pinterest for weeks, I finally decided I wanted to recreate a photo type washing line kind of thing (do they have a name!?). You can buy them on the internet pre-made but the prices ranged from £25-£50. No thanks!
I made this one myself :)
Wool
This really is easy. I ordered the pegs and wool from eBay, ordered some photos to be printed and bought some postcards from Paperchase, which every blogger has, I know. You're then free to peg it all together and hang it up on the wall - I used two nails and tied the string at each end.
Considering I've probably saved about £30, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out!
